Tillandsia Tectorum Ecuador is an easy care air plant with a beautiful bright fuzzy white appearance. Tectorum developed large trichomes to reflect the strong ultraviolet light in its natural habitats (in Ecuador and Peru) as well as help the plant catch airborne nutrients.

All of the plants may be shipped bare root.![]()
Tectorum requires more sunlight than other species because so much of it is reflected by the trichomes. Therefore, direct light is recommended.

No soil is needed. Sand, sea glass, rocks, pebbles & bark chip can be used instead of soil. ![]()
Mist your Tectorum every 1-3 weeks. Give it a little shake off afterwards to make sure water doesn’t collect in the bottom leaves to prevent rot.![]()
